Alexander went through a whole lot during his terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day! He wakes up with gum in his hair, he trips on a skateboard, he doesn't get a cereal prize, gets criticized at school, has a cavity at the dentist, gets in trouble at his dad's work, has lima beans for dinner, loses his marble down the drain, has to wear his least favorite pajamas, his nightlight burns out, he bites his tongue, and his can't won't go to sleep with him! That sounds like a very bad day indeed!
